EES BETA Club
Evergreen Elementary School honored 25 students for their hard work and dedication to academic excellence by inducting them into National Junior BETA Club on November 11, 2016. These students have acquired a 90 or above average and demonstrated good character during the first nine weeks of this 2016-2017 school term. They are candidates of the National Beta Club, which has become the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. The National Beta Jr. Club is committed to recognizing and promoting high academic achievement, rewarding and nurturing worthy character, fostering leadership skills and encouraging service to others. By joining BETA Club, these students are agreeing to uphold high standards and good character throughout their lives. These students are also making a pledge to serve their school, community, and all others who are in need, and will be involved in numerous service learning projects.
National Jr. BETA Club Members are: Fifth Grade- John Andrews(Chaplain), Phillip Andrews, Aunnie Bailey, Amber Crosby(Secretary), Ambre’an Dees(Vice-President), Amber King, Zayden Lewis(President), Jamerion Murphy(Reporter), Damien Rankins and Alexis Rudolph, (Treasurer). Fourth Grade- Terrance Battles, Simone Betton, Riana Finklea, Samarion Gray, Sanieya Gray, Shemontis Golden, Kaley Henderson, Amber House, Taliyah Jervis, Patrick McDonald, Wesley Pipkin, Austin Richardson, Reginal Shipp, Ethan Waters, and Tyniyah Wills.
