Guidance Counselor

My name is Terra Simmons, I am the counselor at Evergreen Elementary School in Evergreen, Al. I have been in the school system for several years and I have worked as an Elementary, Middle, and High School Counselor as well as an elementary teacher. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Education in Counseling, and an Education Specialist Degree in Counseling. As a school counselor I am here to service all students K4-5th grade. Our Guidance Department offer services in Classroom Guidance,  Individual Counseling, Responsive Services, and System Support. The Counseling and Guidance Department at Evergreen Elementary School provides a development and educational program that assist students in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become learners, responsible citizens, productive workers, and develop a life-long love for learning.
