My name is Tonya Ragan.  I was born and raised in Brewton, AL.  I received my undergraduate degree in Human Services from Troy University and my Master’s Degree from the University of South Alabama in Counselor Education.  I began my work in the school system in Escambia County in 2006 where I worked for eleven years and began working in Conecuh County in 2021.  I have experience working with elementary, middle and high school students.  In my career I have worked in the areas of both mental health and substance abuse counseling.  As a school counselor, I am here to serve all grade levels and to provide support.  The Counseling and Guidance Department at Evergreen Elementary School provides a development and educational program that assist students in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and attitudes, necessary to become responsible citizens, productive workers, and develop a life-long love for learning.  If you have questions or concerns about your child or the Counseling and Guidance Program or if I can assist you in any way please feel free to call me at (251)578-2576 Ext. 7006 or email me at tonya.ragan@conecuhk12.com.
